«Heading for energy independence in the year 2036» is one of the aims of the Concept of the Community of Davos. The project «MountEnergy – Energy Model Davos» did emanate from the conception process of the community and puts his goal on being a pioneer to these new developments.
MountEnergy develops and merchandises products and services as well as education offers which should increase the energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in Alpine surroundings.
With its various buildings and constructions, its scenery, its topography, ant its climatic as well as hydro-geologic characteristics Davos offers an ideal test bed to develop different energy production systems and to test them in the demanding Alpine environment. MountEnergy is designed to become a desirable brand and seal of quality in the domain of renewable energy.
